The Dentistry with Care Society

The Dentistry with Care Society is a non-profit organization that was incorporated on January 7, 2014, at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The society was  organized  with the objectives: (1) to improve the quality of oral health condition of the marginalized population by providing free dental services to developing nations regardless of political, social or religious affiliations; (2) to promote preventive dental health care thru education, instructions and community programs; (3) to provide support to other health organizations and community groups through leadership and expertise to efficiently and effectively help the indigent populace; and (4) to maximize utilization of resources through updates on  latest technology  on oral health care .

Behind this society are the following individuals: Dr. Susan Q. Najian , DMD, Dr. Emilia Espiritu, DMD, Arch. Hamid Najian, Ms Mary Agnes Sastrillo, Ms. Cheryl Ann Corpus, and Mr. Arya Najian.

The conduct of dental mission trip is one among the undertakings the Society engage in. We are largely committed to hold dental services in rural areas bereft of oral health care. Setting up portable dental clinics in targeted treatment areas allow us to service a greater number of indigents seeking help.  The Dental Mission Team solicits the help of dedicated volunteers comprising of dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, nurses and concerned individuals who care to be of help.

Upcoming dental mission trips of the Dentistry with Care Society can be viewed on the website of the University of British Columbia (UBC) College of Dentistry. We welcome anyone interested to join us and be a participant to our dental missions.

The society is accepting donations from kind-hearted individuals/groups in whatever form.  Monetary donations to the Society can be made thru UBC at http://www.thedentalmissionproject.com/donation.php. Your donations in kind, possibly in form of dental equipments and supplies, books/school supplies, clothing and toys, among others, are as welcome.
